“Aéro-Club” was then founded by enthusiasts, all members of the Automobile Club de France and aware of the importance of this emerging aeronautics. On October 20, 1898, they were fifty-two co-signatories of the creation of this “society for the encouragement of aerial locomotion, in all its forms and in all its applications”. The Aéro-Club de France has offices in this mansion, has its secretariat, the office of the presidency and the room of the Board of Directors which is also the meeting place of the commissions. Its lounges, regularly occupied by activities linked to the Aéro-Club de France, are entrusted to Sodexo Prestige, which manages them.
